2016 Yosemite and Pinnacles

I feel like our website might be becoming a bit repetitive with our numerous Yosemite trip journals, but since it is now practically in our backyard (4 hours away), I’m afraid there are going to be a lot more of these. The original purpose of this website was a journal for us to preserve our memories and photos. If in addition to that, if it provides others with useful information, then all the better.

Although much of the info and activities regarding our Yosemite stop are a repeat of past trips, we did have a few firsts this time– Hetch Hetchy and visiting the Valley in autumn. So maybe there is some new stuff after all.

Also, for the first time in way too long, we visited a new National Park – Pinnacles, a wonderful hiking, rock climbing, and wildlife viewing park about two hours south of San Francisco, just east of the Salinas Valley
